Leftovers with a latin lover...

OK OK - I am a lil behind in the smut department (sorry Dana). In the mean time here is a short preparation for Flautas done w/ left over turkey. You will need 1 can tomato sauce , salt , pepper and cumin. 1 pkg tortillas( corn). and toothpicks.

Turkey Flautas

  1. Shred turkey , in small frying pan add a little oil (very little) salt , pepper and cumin to taste. Add tomoato sauce just to color and to add moisture to your bird.
  2. mircowave tortillas for about 15 sec just to warm them. Add turkey and roll in to flute shapes . Place tooth pick in to hold.
  3. In fry pan add oil about 1/4 in heat to frying temp and drop in flautas about three at a time works. Cook until gloden brown. Place on place w/ paper towel to absorb excess oil
  4. Serve w/ sour cream and hot salsa , perhaps a Corona.

I usually place as a side refried beans and Spanish rice..... thats good eating. Enjoy ---- R
